Action Plans & Campaigns

From The Sovereign Games

CYCLE Calibration position — Active Development

This page is a conceptual instrument under Permanent Beta. It declares a real calibration position, not a finished product waiting to ship. Checking continues; an edit is only required when evidence demands it. Stage: Seed to Fruit.

Feedback welcome — especially clarity, failure modes, and calibration gaps. Use discussion or Contribute.

Action Plans & Campaigns are the tactical, time-bound execution layer of The Sovereign Games.

While Sovereign Strategies provide high-level direction and long-term architecture, Action Plans & Campaigns translate insight into concrete, measurable operations that individuals, families, communities, or small teams can execute.

This page is a category / method hub, not a single campaign. Individual campaigns remain separate pages under Permanent Beta.

Description Action Plans & Campaigns are the tactical, time-bound execution layer of The Sovereign Games. They translate high-level diagnosis and Sovereign Strategies into concrete, measurable operations that individuals, families, communities, and small teams can execute with speed and leverage.

Purpose / Success / Failure / Scope

  • Purpose: Convert diagnosis and strategy into coordinated, results-oriented action with traceable metrics and anti-capture checks.
  • Success Criterion: A reader can build a campaign from the eight-step template such that objectives, games diagnosed, leverage points, metrics, and refusal protocols are explicit enough to recalibrate.
  • Failure Criterion: Plans that optimize optics, omit Diagnostic Inversion, or cannot state what “better” means in observable terms.
  • Scope: Personal, family, community, and small-team operations. Not a substitute for full Strategic Playbooks or civilizational architecture pages. Not a list of finished field-validated campaigns.

Core Principles for Sovereign Action

All campaigns must follow See → Refuse → Build Better and the metrology mindset:

  • Trace actions to observable incentives and feedback loops.
  • Quantify uncertainty and risks explicitly.
  • Prioritize measurable long-term calibration over short-term optics.
  • Apply Diagnostic Inversion: test the plan against the same standards used on opposing systems.
  • Refuse new Slave Owner Game dynamics inside the campaign itself (capture, coercion framed as necessity, status-only metrics).

How to Build an Action Plan or Campaign

Use this structured template for every campaign:

  1. Define the Objective
Specific, measurable outcome with clear success criteria. (What does “better” look like in traceable terms?)
  2. Diagnose the Game(s)
Identify active dynamics (Slave Owner Game, Moloch Game, Entrenchment Spiral Game, Narrative Control Game, etc.). Map incentives, ownership structures, and failure modes.
  3. Map Leverage Points
Focus on high-leverage nodes where small, precise interventions disrupt destructive loops or strengthen sovereign alternatives.
  4. Phased Timeline
Break into clear stages with deadlines. Include decision gates for recalibration.
  5. Resources & Responsibilities
Assign owners, required inputs (time, capital, skills, networks), and accountability mechanisms (Skin in the Game where possible).
  6. Success Metrics & Monitoring
Define leading and lagging indicators. Establish uncertainty bounds and calibration checkpoints.
  7. Risk Mitigation & Anti-Capture Measures
Identify principal risks (including internal drift or new Slave Owner dynamics). Pre-define refusal protocols.
  8. Iteration Protocol (Permanent Beta)
Schedule regular reviews. Log lessons, update the standard, and propagate improvements.

What This Layer Is Not

  • Not a replacement for diagnosis (see Core Diagnostic Games first when the pattern is unclear).
  • Not unbounded activism: campaigns without exit criteria, metrics, or inversion drift into performance.
  • Not automatically “Strategy” or “Playbook”: those layers integrate longer horizons and multi-game architecture; this layer is time-bound execution.

Current Action Plans & Campaigns

Linked entries below are illustrative of the layer. Some targets are still strategy- or game-primary pages; dedicated campaign pages should be split out as they mature.

Known Open Issues

  • Few entries are fully written as Action Plans under the eight-step template (many remain strategy- or game-level).
  • No shared success-metric vocabulary across campaigns yet.
  • Anti-capture checklist for campaign internal governance is only sketched via principles, not a separate procedure page.

See the Game. Refuse the Game. Build Better.

This section turns understanding into repeatable, scalable action.

Structural Connections

Page Transparency & Calibration

This page is under continuous calibration in line with the Permanent Beta principle.

Public Discussion Welcome

Questions, suggestions, feedback, disagreement, and proposed improvements are welcome on the Talk page.

Light rules:

  • Prefer evidence and concrete examples over slogans.
  • Apply Diagnostic Inversion Test when criticizing — the same standard to this page that you would apply elsewhere.
  • Distinguish observation from conclusion.
  • Calibration entries and Decision Records are maintenance records; public discussion belongs in ordinary Talk threads.
  • This framework remains in Permanent Beta. Better calibration is always in scope.

Calibration Dependent

Pages that list this page as a load-bearing dependency: None found. Either nothing currently depends on this page, or no dependent page has yet listed it in their `depends_on` field.

If this page is edited substantively, review the list above per the Ripple Review rule — see Calibration Dependencies: Standards and Process#Rule: Core-Priority Changes Trigger Mandatory Ripple Review.

Calibration Dependencies

Pages this page relies on as load-bearing dependencies: See → Refuse → Build Diagnostic Inversion Test Sovereign Strategies Skin in the Game If incorrect, edit the `depends_on` field in Admin Page Status — do not edit this section directly, it is auto-generated.

Page Construction & Maintenance References

How we construct, maintain, and utilize each page as a self-admin control panel.

  • Distributed Instrumentation — the architectural principle behind why this page (and every page) carries its own live instrumentation, rather than relying on a separate central dashboard.
  • Page Structure Calibration Checklist — the Step 0 structural pass every page should pass before content calibration begins; this page's own structure should be checkable against it.
  • Template:New Page Seed — the seed template this page's basic structure was built from.
  • Calibration Log: When to Create One — the decision procedure this page's own Talk-only vs. dedicated-log status was decided against.
  • Framework Features Reference — maintains consistency and traceability across the framework's structural features while avoiding unnecessary maintenance overhead; consult before introducing a new structural pattern this page might otherwise duplicate.

Calibration Procedure

In development. See Calibration Procedure for current status. No formal step-by-step procedure exists yet beyond the practices demonstrated across individual pages developed during the initial creation of this project.
