We are a metrology system — complete with tools, standards, procedures, and instruments — under continuous development and calibration cycles. This is not the same claim as being incomplete. “Incomplete” implies a fixed, known endpoint that has not been reached yet — a finished version waiting to exist. That is not what this is. A metrology has no such endpoint by design: the calibration cycle keeps running as long as the things it measures continue to exist and change. A calibration cycle checking a page is not the same as that page requiring adjustment. An instrument can pass diagnostics and need no edit — that is a good outcome. The cycle exists to confirm accuracy on a real schedule, not to presume something is broken. “Never done” describes the checking, not endless rewriting. What we actually are, at any given moment, is in development and at a specific point in a calibration cycle — a real, stated, checkable position, not an excuse or a placeholder. Every tool, standard, and page should declare its current stage honestly (see Seed to Fruit Development). That declaration is part of the discipline, not an admission of failure. A brand finishes a product and ships it. A metrology calibrates an instrument and keeps checking it. The first treats “done” as the goal. The second treats “currently accurate, and checked recently” as the goal — ongoing, and answerable to reality whether or not that answer requires a change. MoA-level procedures such as Seed to Fruit Development are written to remain adoptable in other domains (e.g. specialized ontologies, professional knowledge bases) with local maturity scales and annexes. The Sovereign Games serves as the practical diagnostic language layer of this effort. It translates metrological discipline into usable patterns and tools that help people identify recurring dynamics, refuse destructive ones, and build better alternatives.
This includes:
- Establishing traceable master standards (the Royal Cubit)
- Developing traceability hierarchies from base reality upward
- Cultivating individuals and institutions capable of gauge-block-level discipline: stability, traceability, and ongoing recalibration to reality
- Applying Permanent Beta correction across minds, organizations, and societies
Just as rigorous metrology (as practiced by standards organizations like NIST) enabled extraordinary progress in the physical sciences and engineering, we are exploring whether similar disciplines can improve coordination, decision-making, and institutional quality in human systems.
In short, we are building the measurement and self-correction layer for human systems — a foundation intended to reduce drift and support higher-quality coordination over time. In the end, reality will measure the results.

As an independent project, it applies the Metrology of the Abstract to Human Systems Metrology—calibrating conceptual instruments related to incentives, institutions, governance, and civilizational patterns.
The Sovereign Games does not own, centralize, or define the Metrology of the Abstract. MoA is a decentralized discipline that may be adopted, extended, and implemented by other independent projects and sandboxes across any domain.
The breadth, scope, and objectives of The Sovereign Games are domain-specific implementation choices. The standards, methods, and calibration procedures of the Metrology of the Abstract remain portable, domain-neutral, and non-exclusive.
Our Core Position

Just as the metrology mindset transformed physical measurement from ad-hoc judgment into a precise, traceable, and continuously improving discipline, we apply the same standards to governance, policy, institutions, incentives, and culture.
Most current approaches to these domains operate with weak feedback, poor traceability, and standards that are declared rather than tested. When results contradict the policy or institution, the common response is justification or reframing rather than calibration.
We reject that pattern.

We Are Not A Wiki Per Se
We use MediaWiki. That is a fact.
What we are not is a traditional wiki project whose success is measured by encyclopedia norms: complete coverage, no red links, polished consumer reference, or “finished product” shipping.

We are developing — pages, procedures, and infrastructure move through real stages. We reject only the frame that treats early or partial instruments as failure relative to a fixed finished-wiki endpoint.
A red link here is usually a breadcrumb: something identified, not yet built, not hidden. A red link that breaks a path already claimed as ready is operational debt and should be fixed or the claim lowered — that is still metrology, not encyclopedia shame.
MediaWiki, templates, and extensions are calibration infrastructure. Judge them by whether they support traceability, honest status, and public challenge. Do not judge the project by whether it looks like a completed reference wiki. It was never aimed at that scoreboard.
